Just like her mom.

We have a long and sometimes sinister maritime history here as well. the waters off the North Carolina coast -- especially Cape Hatteras -- were once called the "Graveyard of the Atlantic". Nags Head, NC got its name from pirates of the colonial period typing a lantern to a horse's head and sending it down the beach, luring ships with a false light so that they ran aground on the shoals.

The pirates of the 18th Century loved hanging around here because there were so many places to hide. Blackbeard is probably the most infamous of them, but he was hardly the only one to use the barrier islands as a safe haven.Mojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03498213932233245032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-37174210.post-12337632007543182112009-04-06T22:01:00.000+01:002009-04-06T22:01:00.000+01:00How lovely all the RED things for Easter or Passov...How lovely all the RED things for Easter or Passover! so glad your daughter is home with you and Gunnar Felisol!
