RUBY TUESDAY SPRING

Originated by MaryT, check hers for today.
Spring to me is first and foremost picking White Anemones. I'm getting reports from family and friends when and where the first ones are spotted.
My mother even once came with an old fashioned milk bucket
filled with White Anemones once I lay sick in bed. This Easter Serina brought home a tiny delicate bouquet of Anemones. The flowers are best found by a brooch and under shady trees. Yesterday I found a lot where one had chopped down a whole hillside of old pines. Prices are good for lumber these days.
May red knitted swaeter is from a firm called Oleannna.
Ole Bull, a violinist from last 19th century had a romantic dream of creating a Norwegian state in the USA. Since his first name was Ole, the state was to be named Oleanna. Giant fiasco though.
The knitwear factory is success. Most Norwegian/Americans buy one or two for use over there. That's also the Ruby for this Tuesday.
Sorry about the lousy cellphone quality.

Our most famous composer Edvard Grieg has made a wonderful homage to the spring.
I'd like to share it with you.

What beautiful little flowers, I can see why you love them so, and that sweater is simply gorgeous.

I have a wonderful heavy wool sweater I bought in Norway 20 years ago - unfortunately, it's still practically brand new and it's almost never cold enough for it here. I don't know what on earth I was thinking LOL.

THe tiny flowers look so pretty. They grow on our mountains. i have seen them.

Grieg 's music is awesome.

Its more than 40 degress here.I am getting my house roof white washed with a white lime based paint. Its supposed to keep the house cool.

I LOVE your sweater! It looks lush and rich and thoroughly snuggable! Spring is in full bloom here in Texas and the flowers are gorgeous this year! I will have to post some pictures of them!

Beautiful white anemones, in contrast with your bright red sweater, and that big smile on your face!

Grieg... one of my father's favorites. When I was small, there would always be classical music playing in the background, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Bach...

I'm in Manila at the moment, and no internet access at home, so I'm reading blogs at the internet cafe just down the road where I live.

Enjoy your white anemones, Felisol. I was in Switzerland many years ago, and a Swiss lady painter gave me a watercolor painting of anemones! Such beautiful delicate flowers! Heaven must be full of them.

I love that bright red sweater you are wearing. And it's perfect for Ruby Tuesday.

The little flowers are pretty. I didn't know what their name was, but now I do!

Hi, thank you for visiting my blog place, and your warm encouraging words.

I decided to do my first Ruby Tuesday post. Your "red" pictures are beautiful, someday I'll get better, as I really am interested in becoming a good photographer.

Blessings on your spring days!

Love your sweater! We don't have much in bloom right now...just some Daffodils. It's been too cold!!!

I love the photo. Wonderful flowers. If I went out, I'd pick the violets that are all over my back yard at the moment... similar in size to your anemones. Happy Spring!

I love those flowers and the photo is too cute! I'm going to be sure my dad reads this post too. He will also enjoy the Edvard Grieg video. Thanks for your comments on Heart Choices. I always love to read yours, Felisol. That is interesting about Ole desiring a Norwegian state in the US. I would love to live there if it happened. I guess Minnesota is about the closest thing to it.
