RUBY PAINTING

We have been through a de-clutter process on rainy days this summer. This painting, made by Serina 5 years, was some among the treasures we found.
It is about two suns, stars, a huge red flower and our house, she told yesterday as I asked her to interpret her art.

Mr. Jim said he would never allow any of his daughters to paint his house. Here you can see why we are lucky that our only child will help us out. She doesn't spill a drop!
As soon as she had finished the wall and the window, I hurried to get the flowers back in position. My patient daughter let me interfere with her work without complaints.

See what I mean? The door handle and our name shield have no red spots.
Have a Happy Ruby Tuesday, everybody!
Originated by MaryT, check hers for today.

Very beautiful girl! Hard to take eyes away from her - good thing the red is so bold and the flowers are in such a rich bloom!

She did an excellent job! What's her secret for not dripping paint? I could use her at my house. ;-)

Very colorful and nice, the red and green combination is pretty with those flowers around.

Your house looks beautiful, the organic red and green so eye catching and never dull. Serina is a real artist, and to not spill a drop - the work of a real artisan!

What beautiful painting! (Both the art and the house!)

There's nothing I love more than children's art. It's always bright and full of life!

And your house....I love the deep green with that bright, bold red trim! Looks marvelous!!

Serina at five did such a beautiful work of art, and I know why she doesn't spill a drop... it's because she is painting your house as a work of art! She IS an artist, that is plain to see. She loves and is proud of what she is doing.

How everything blends in so beautifully in the pictures you shared with us, the red and the green house, the pretty summer flowers, the lovely girl -- everything a work of art.

Your posts really make me long to meet you and your family in real life.

Maybe it is not such a farfetched dream for me and my daughter to one day visit your family in Norway, or, you and your family to come visit us in Bacolod City! Who knows!

La Belle Serina loks charming at work and painting is hard work too. She is doing an excellent job from the looks of it. Well done Serina.
You are a budding artist too.
All inherited talents from the Ljung family.

I really enjoyed this pretty post.

Serina is doing a great job. How can she get so little paint on her? I painted last year and managed to get a coat of gray paint all over myself!

Happy Ruby Tuesday, Felisol. While you are blogging Serina has painted the whole house! She does a good job, it is soooooo very pretty.

Mrs. Jim peeked over my shoulder as asked about what was on your blog. I think she is getting more and more interested in spending some time in Norway.

I didn't do RT this week but do have a MidWeek Blues post for tomorrow up today. I had to cross the pond again and did a Blue Shutter theme and ended with a blue car.

Thanks for the good word on us, but there are some Ugly Americans still around, they must have shied away from where you have been.

I don't see any drops of paint on her clothes either!
Beautiful young woman doing a beautiful job.
I loved Magical Mystical Teacher's haiku for your image - from visiting here often I think it fits you perfectly.

My dear Norwegian friend,
It is a Friday morning here, 7 a.m. In about an hour I plan to visit the weekly Flea Market and Bazaar at a nearby town. Here I will find many second hand European quilts, tablecloths, lace curtains, throw pillow covers, rugs, and many other household things.

Somehow I thought of you this morning, and the picture of Serina painting your lovely green and red house with many flowers by the doorway kept popping in my mind!

As the Lord brings remembrance, I pray all is well with you and your loved ones.

Love
Lidj

I really enjoyed this post and photos. It is nice to have children who help out when they can. And this daughter is doing an excellent job painting. I didn't see any spills either.

You have a nice blog. This is my first visit

I love the colors of your home!!! You have such a nice daughter to give of her time to paint for you! A job well done raising her I'd say. She developed her artistic flair at a very young age from viewing her painting .. very expressive. Tell her shorter hair is very becoming on her.
