MORE SERINA & GUNNAR SEPIA

"Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest;
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

N\Snow Princess and her Dad look deep in concentration. You must have clicked them.

Dear Felisol,
How beautifully you mix your photographs with poetry, and how apt the lines you choose!

You do have the heart of a poet and an artist, my friend.

And as always, the details on the picture you posted are amazing...

Always a delight to visit your blog.

Love
Lidj

Thank you for sharing the beauty of your family sepia pics ... Princess Serina is effortlessly beautiful!!! Dad's not bad looking either ;)

You must not take too many extra minutes pecking away on your pc ... save up your strength ... praying for a healing of your arm!!!

Your paring of classic poetry with your pics is enlightening me to the master poets. Thanks

Felisol, I've been neglecting my commenting on everyone's blog - decided to take a moment this morning and let you know that I do still stop by to read! I've enjoyed your photographs and poetry. (Dickensen and Shakespeare are two of my favorites!) One of these days I'm going to splurge and purchase Photoshop so I can do all those fun things you do with your photos! In fact, just yesterday in church, our Children's Pastor asked if I'd be interested in helping out with some phototraphy in the children's ministry. I would sure love to have that software to enhance some of my photos! Perhaps God will provide it! In the meantime...

Thanks for your prayers for Randy - Wednesday is the big day. I will keep everyone informed via our Sister's blog.

May God heap blessings upon your head!! Love you!

Hi Felisol,

Hope your arm gets better soon. Sorry you have so much pain.

In answer to the questions you left on my last blog post:

Yes, Lulu Press (www.cowart.info )does ship overseas, but I think they charge a little more for shipping.

As far as four of my books you asked me to recommend:

(1.) My favorite of all the things I've written is Glog--A Dinosaur Novel Of Sorts. It's an action adventure story on the surface, and on another lever it's a novel about how God guides us by using troubles to bring us to where He has planed for us.

(2.) The Lazarus Projects involved a team of modern scientists, led by Miami businessman Eli Rosen, who travel back through time to witness the Crucifixion.

(3.) I love A Dirty Old Man Goes Bad, and the others of my diaries because they are about--ME.

(4.) I edited my friend Barbara White's book Along The Way. I think her work may become a spiritual classic because it helps so many people face adversity in day to day life. She's a much better writer and Christian than I am.

Anyhow, those are my top picks of the 22 I've published...Don't tell anybody but most of my history books are filler.

Thanks for asking.
