GARDEN WEDDING

The birch outside our kitchen window is shining like a bride of spring in green, laced, veil.
Our lilacs are still hiding their true colors, like young, modest brides maids.
The daffodils are shining like yellow mother suns all over the garden, and to day the red cardinal, the rhododendron has unfolded his robe.
Blackbirds and red robins have already tuned into the prelude.
We are waiting for the groom, the somewhat reluctant huge cherry tree, to arrive, and we are the guests of honor!

Dearest Felisol - the metaphor you have created for your emerging garden is positively lyrical.

What a beautiful post, dear Felisol!

For a while, I thought somebody did get married... and as I read your post I realized that your title was referring to something poetic.

Loved the way you worded your post, friend. So creative, so artistic!

By the way, my grandnephew will be visiting Bergen sometime this year. Is that far from your place? I would love for him to handcarry a little gift for you...

Love
Lidj

I almost got a chance to visit Norway, but sadly I didn't at the last moment.

When my husband was a professor in Singapore, he worked closely with maritime Norway, and they sent a woman to work a lot.

They were planning to send my husband there, and I was all excited. Then it didn't happen. So sad.

Yes, my husband was telling me all the GOOD things in Norway.

All Scandanecian countries are good. My husband's Swedish Colleague here in New Zealand, the wife is doing a PhD, and she is paid like a proper job.

What a beautiful description you wrote. I love how you made comparison to a bride.

I don't know when you celebrate mothers in Norway. But today is Mother's Day in the US. I wanted to wish you a happy Mother's Day. It seems that you've done a wonderful job with your beautiful Serena.

Love you,
Debbie

Ah, Felisol, the beauty of spring is springing up all around you!
We saw a whole bunch of cactus blooming on the way home from church this morning. The flowers were all yellow. I may go back for a picture tomorrow.

I liked your Ruby Tuesday post for this week. I had forgotten that in the cold countries the MCs hibernate for winter. We ride year round here.

Good gracious, what a poetic description to go with the pictures. You made me feel like a wedding guest Felisol.

Nature provides us with untold visions of God 's glory.
