RUBY NOVEMBER

Summer has passed, and fall is also reckoned to be over.
We were surprised by an early snow fall at the end of October. King Frost made short process with most of our garden flowers. I managed however to save a dozen of the still blossoming geraniums. For a while our kitchen and living room were
inundated with all shades of red geraniums.
Due to lack of water, they have starved one by one.
The few survivors shall be taken care of, in remembrance of the bygone summer.

Felisol, so nice to see you blogging. The flowers are beautiful. The photos of your husband, reading, resting, are well-studied and observant. Nice details in the one with the magazine. I like how it flips.

I'm so happy to see you here again Felisol! Yes, the flowers here are almost gone too, still some brave ones blooming, but soon the frost will take care of them. BUT... spring will come again!!

Meanwhile, I will be thinking and dreaming of Christmas in Norway!!

I hope you are feeling better and getting rest. It looks like your hubby is relaxing and content.

Love,

Sonja

Nice to see you back. It seems we are doing RT without Mary. Old habits die hard.
Nice photos.

It sure feels good to be back.
Like taking up a valuable spare time joy.
I have missed taking part in the Ruby Tuesday meme, as well as the visits from my dear blog contacts.

I actually had to shut down my Face book account, to make space and time for my favorite hobby.

With limited recourses, I had to make a choice, and see how well it works!
Ruby Tuesday it is, whether dear teach Mary is delayed or not.
She has indeed created a perpetual mobile project.

Geraniums were Daddy's favorite flower...there is really nothiing quite as hardy and beautiful is there? My Martha Washington Geranium bloomed until the frost a couple of weeks ago.
So glad to see that you are back Felisol! Lovely Ruby November!!

What beautiful photos...yes, winter certainly came early to us here in Norway this year! We also have snow and it's been cold but clear and lovely out so I don't mind.:)
Well, I am SO happy you're back!
Stor klem kjære Elise!

I've missed your Ruby Tuesday posts!

I had to rescue a few geraniums from the outdoors too! Hmm. Thank you for reminding me to water them. :)

Hope your remaining plants survive.

Glad to see you back online. I've missed you.

You will be happy to know that the family you helped here in Florida are doing fine. My daughter-in-law opened her art gallery and features some of that father's work for sale--that gives them a real chance to become self-supporting.

You made a difference.

John

Dear John C,
I am glad to be back.
You meant the difference to that special family.
I have wondered how they were. Glad to learn that things are working out for them, and that your family still is a part of their lives.

Dear Trish,
One's just have to love you Americans, so sweet and lovingly polite. I've changed the name of the flowers from begonia to geraniums.
My begonias are resting in our cellar, drying and preparing for next spring.
I'm really blessed to have you as my scarf sister!

Welcome back, Felisol! I do hope some blogging will do you good!

Those are pretty flowers. I imagine the plants mostly will return green and flowered in Spring?
..
BTW, we may have to turn on our heat in the house this weekend for the first time since last spring.

And I'm not doing RT again this week. I can't keep up yet with all my pressing things to do.

So good to see your lovely geraniums providing color an d grace to your house where Gunnar is relaxing.

I have never grown geraniums. But they wiould vlourish in our cooler season.

We are getting our house painted starting tomorrow, so everything will be messed up.

I was avoiding it for long , can 't put ot off any more.
