May

We are still in the wonderful month of May. The two definitely most important months in Norway are April and May. Here wonderfully depicted on the Baldishol tapestry. My mother has embroidered this beautiful copi, and given it to me. You can see the word Aprilis and Mavis over the heads of the knights. The tapestry is carbon dated to late 12th century and is a national heirloom.
I do hope you are enjoying this wonderful time when mother nature is awakening to new life with the same enthusiasm as we do.

Hi Felisol,

I'd never heard of the Baldishol tapestry before now.

It's beautiful.

Today, I'm using it as my desktop background.

Thanks, John

What a beautiful tapestry. I am a big Edvard Grieg fan. Enjoy the rest of Norway May - it looks precious.

Mother 's handiwark is stunning . She is outstanding.

The music of Grig is so alluring. I have some of it on tape..

Today I am getting my fridge repaired. Its timer has to be replaces.

a repairman came home and had to wait for over an hour while he was trying to detect the failt. While waiting and having a cuppa, he took up a Christian magazine and read it with interest - he is muslim.

Later on he will return to replace the broken part.

What a beautiful work of art this embroidered tapestry is, Felisol. You are fortunate to be living in a world surrounded by so much beauty, love, and creativity.

I think Grieg is a genius, like most classical composers are!
