WINTER FLIGHTS

The Norwegian summer is mostly like a dream. Long, light nights, swimming temperature in the sea.
These howling winter storms of January are freaking me off. By statistics January is the longest, darkest, coldest month of the year, with bills and ebbtide on my bank account.
It's then baby daughter and I make serious plans about going abroad.
At least for a week.
Therefore I'm polishing these pics from Portugal.

Hi Felisol, Mrs. Jim and I have just returned from 'abroad.' It is delicious but I did miss out on blogging for a couple of weeks.
:-)

I have started to blog again now after a two week break (did put on a poem on the other blog yesterday). I hope I can keep up now but it may still be going slow for me.
-->So come see me in the sun at Jim's Little Blog <--

An escape! A simply splendid idea!
Go somewhere far from the cold!

Sounds so exotic and enticing! I am beginning to think I need to go back to Europe. It's been a VERY LONG time since I was in Germany. Maybe I should plan a trip with my Mutti and have the 2 of us go back there while she is able. Heck while I AM STILL ABLE! Ha Ha!

Thank you so very much for keeping me in your prayers!
Bless you and hugs,
Connie

I hope the lovely photos refresh your warm memories of the sunny holiday.

I like Serina 's long dark hair.

This certainly looks like a beautiful place to go to get away from the cold.

Dear Felisol,

I am delighted that you enjoyed my poetry and blogs. Wonderful that our thoughts and feelings can be offered and received from opposite sides of the world.

Your photo of the steps is lovely, as are the others, but that appealed to me in particular.

Fond regards,
Eaton. :)
