RUBY WROOOMS

Originated by MaryT, check hers for today.

Flee market in the club of Classic Cars.
For four generations on both sides of the family two and four wheelers have engaged and intrigued all family members.

This very Chrysler 300 1961 once was the "Directors Car" at Union Carbide's Sauda factory. There were three chauffeurs with nothing else to do than drive company cars.
Some cars it was, green colored windows, the roar of the motor echoed in the narrow valley, when the chauffeur came home for dinner.
And the fins,ai, ai what a mighty shark.

Serina used to have a Corvette similar to this for her Barbie car. Gunnar is the master of curves, angles, light and and..
My baby has a weak spot for the Ducati. Luckily her father says NO.
I'm willingly posing with the Plymouth.
It's younger and in better shape than me, though we both can be marketed as vintage.

I so enjoy the classic Chrysler, the 1961 a stunner with the giant fins, and in black a perfect color (the ruby is in the tail lights!), and you in front of that red 1959 Plymouth (also with huge fins). Both of these are superbly styled and full of the excess of American cars back then...but wonderfully styled!

Lots of vintage here! I like seeing you and Serina. You both look like you are having a good time with the red cars.

I agree with her father... stay off those motorcycles.... they are accidents going somewhere to happen. Some people forget that they have no protection and still try to drive them like cars... my boss did and ended up with a femur fracture in over 50 pieces.... he ran into the back of a FedEx truck.

I love the teddy bear in his little red car.

I vote for your "baby" to get the motorcycle. I have a Honda VTX 1300 and love to ride in the country. You have great photos for RT. Thanks for sharing. (FYI - there is a typo in your URL on the RT page. I had to add a period between your name and blogspot.) Take care.

oh and if my brother, teddy was about, he would have been casting eyes at that "director's" car and wishing that it was here in welland where he used to work at the union carbide!

Hi Felisol, This is a fun Ruby Tuesday. Believe it or not, my favorite car is the big black one.
Your baby looks very cute in front of that very fast Ducati. Have a wonderful Ruby Tuesday! :)

These shots are wonderful Felisol!

Memories, memories....

And you in your red jacket to hop right in that Plymouth and go for a spin.
I'm loving 'we both can be marketed as vintage' - put a smile on my face.

Vintage, LOL! Very nice Plymo. Happy RT!

Felisol, my pick is the Ducati followed by the Plymouth. Why? Because those two are guarded by pretty girls!
Happy RT, thank you for your visit. This will be Karen's first child. BP is her step-daughter.

oh the vintage car exhibits are all the rage worldwide ... we recently sold our 65 GTO (Pontiac) ... it was a much better investment than the stock market :) What beautiful gal models you have in your post!

I love the last line. Made me laugh. I have been a very bad visitor. Sorry. Sorry to read about your mouse wrist up above. Please always think to ask me for reiki. I will assume you would say yes and send some now a week or more late.
