FALL IN PINK AND RUBY

The fall is creeping in on us, whether we like it or not. I embrace the sunshine days of September with a passionate "carpe diem" attitude.Never know when the rain and chill will win the ongoing battle I found these flowers in the woods by a salmon river.
The last clover and probably also the the last butterfly of this summer enjoying the moment home in birth town Sauda.
The boat houses seem to be decorated for Ruby Tuesday.
Outside my mother's house a chestnut mare and her daughter are grassing. Gunnar, the horse-whisperer in action. The mare being the alibi for this Tuesday has turned her back to us.
The hut of the angle fishers is abounded for the season. Now is hunting time in the mountains.

Originated by MaryT, check hers for today.

You found some wonderful rubies to share. The wild orchid (?) is gorgeous. What a vibrant red for the fishers hut! That reflection in the hood of the car is quite a treat as well.
Gunnar, the horse whisperer made me smile!
Lovely post Felisol!

The red house is a classic, in shape and color. The horses have a blonde beauty, and it is great to have an interpreter to discuss events to an equine storyteller. This is a lovely town to visit and photograph. Yes, it is Autumn and the weather can and will change fast. Your attitude is to be commended: sieze and enjoy today!

Gorgeous variety of pictures! I am quite intrigued by the red markings on the barn doors! It seems like a deliberate pattern, like a sign!

What lovely finds. The wild orchid (?) looks a bit like a lady's slipper, which in the U.S. one is not allowed to pick. Love the red stripes of the barn. The barn that is reflected is so pretty - such a bright red!

Get 'em while you can! I do hope you picked every one of those after you took the picture. They wouldn't be around for many more if your winter is coming in so fast.
Gunnar is alright! I like horses too, I rode one to high school for my first two years.
..
Of course I know you wouldn't pick them, or shoot a reindeer for that matter.

You've found a nice selection of red to help us stay cheerful and forget that autumn is here and winter is next.

I love the red house and your capture of beautiful nature. The weather is getting cooler as we approach the end of the year. It's raining in usually sunny Singapore.

that mare is way too funny felisol.
go figure...she would have been made some what famous from the far side of the sea blog if she hadn't of been such a snob!
felisol...the red hut is so pretty but what is even prettier is the nice reflection of it on the shining car!
i don't like the thoughts of hunting season, especially in the states.
mr. jim said on his blog that there will be thousands of wolves shot...thousands of them felisol..
it is different when the hunters kill deer to feed their families but it is so uncalled for..the slaying of inocent animals!
this was a good ruby poat felisol....love terry

Hello dear felisol,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm still out of the country, and will return to posting at my blog when I return in just a few more days.

It has been a great experience, and I had to chance to visit my blog a few times to check it for comments.

This post of yours is so beautiful, as always. It had a sad tinge to it, as you showed a picture of the last flower and last butterfly of summer.

Your pictures always touch my heart in a special way.

Enjoy your last remaining days of summer.

Love
Lidj

I always enjoy viewing your pictures-glimpses into your own little corner of the world!

I enjoyed your 5 words meme as well. I can relate with so many of your thoughts! I have always been drawn to the mountains more than the sea.

I will say though that the Lord used the image of waves in a significant way in my life. Dave and I were Youth Leaders for a long time and back in 2000 we were on a trip with the Youth Pastor down in the Gulf of Mexico. God showed me His great love for me as the waves crashed over me and then swept away all of the bad things, all of the sin in my life. I have never forgotten that visual ebb and flow of my life!
