RUBY WONDERLAND

Usually we are dreaming of a White Christmas. This year we seem to have got it, despite the depressing news from the climate conference in Copenhagen. Time to visit the cemetery and place burning lights on the graves of loved ones.
A girl in red is the alibi for this pic.
An angle came with the good news to the world.
Serina is carrying lights for outdoor decorations. Norwegians are modest decorators. Somehow I think this does the trick. Some red in darling daughter's jacket.

Love the lady in red as well as Serina in her touch of red. Perfect!

Yes, Copenhagen was a huge disappointment. Greed triumphs again.

The red is subtle of the one standing in the cemetery, performing a wonderful task. The angel is beautiful, the ruby and wings a welcome site. The preparations of the arrival of the Lord are being made by all. Merry Christmas, Felosol!

I like the red accent, but I love the snow. In fact, I miss the snow. I grew up in central Utah, with four seasons. Here is Salem, we either get rain or no rain. :)

The cemetary looks so peaceful and serene in the new fallen snow. Putting lights on the graves is a beautiful way to remember loved ones.

Happy Christmas to you and your family Felisol.

God Jul ... to you and your family! The Ruby T. pics are, again, wonderful. We have just a little bit of snow to make things look bright. With clear sunny skies .. everything is beautiful.

yes felisol, some red in darling daughter's jacket for sure but what about the red of her lips and the faintest blush on her cheeks?
felisol, this is the nicest smile i have ever seen on the fair princess's lips.
oh and the twinkle in her eyes are nicer than the twinking of those lights!!
i know that you and gunnar realize how blessed and rich you really are...love terry

What a wonderful tradition, the candles at the cemetery. I wish we had that here in Australia, but I guess December being bushfire season it would not be a good idea. Wishing you much joy Felisol, for the holiday season and end of the year, and bright and bountiful wishes for next year. Your daughter is beautiful isn't she!Lovely pictures.

Felisol, I am very sorry to hear that Gunar's Aunt Lily has died.
I do know that she has not had good health for quite some time, although she did recover her strength for a while just a lot.
Saying that you must be having sorrow for her being gone and that you will missing her so terribly much.
But also your feelings must be joyful in that there are no more suffering and tears where she is now.
Our prayers will be with you three and the other family members at this time.

I love the shy sweet smile Serina wears as she draps herself, much like a child, in lighted Christmas lights. The angel would be such a surprise in a cemetary here but one I would like very much to find.

Wow Felisol, it seems you have dressed up the cemetry in whilkte. ..like icing.

Out of the two angels Serina will be named The Angel With the Lights. In India also people decorate their homes modestly.

I saw in the media that Europe is have ing a very severe winter thhis year.
