Last sundown of April

Sundown view by Tornes, meaning Thor's ness. Probably a historic site, since Tor was one of the main gods in old Nordic mythology.
The red ladder is meant for saving people who have fallen through the ice. Since boats are also sailing on this sweet water, there's a red boat hook and a life belt.
All devices meant to help people in need.
Today they're here illustrating what nature's like this Ruby Tuesday.

Hello Elise, Red is the traditional color for stop and yet for lifesaving, it screams YES!

Elise, I used to "keep safe" two peanut butter sandwiches, and candy bars in a secret place near our dump wayyy back on the farm. This for my own use in event of bad storm. The ONE time I would have made use, I found that the place was not much of a 'secret'...every critter from four legs, to six legs, to two legs had been aware of my stash. (sigh!)
PEACE!

LOVE that picture, and the fact that stuff was there for saving lives.

Dear Felisol, I am so glad I was able to open your page today, yesterday becuase of network problems I was unable to open it.

Thor' s nest is indeed a capttivating place. The Norwegians value human life highly... there the saving ladder is in place,

We had a terrible boat tragedy yesterday, many people have died.

Lovely photo, the red ladder so symbolic, and lends nostalgia to this pic, entitled, "The Last Sundown of April."

I saw the Hello Stranger video by Serina... it was beautiful!

Blessings for May be abundantly yours, dear friend.
