A Thousand Splendid Suns

Morning has broken into a thousand splendid suns.

Morning has broken
Like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird
Praise for the singing
Praise for the morning
Praise for them springing
Fresh from the word

Sweet the rains new fall
Sunlit from heaven
Like the first dew fall
On the first grass
Praise for the sweetness
Of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness
Where his feet pass
Mine is the sunlight
Mine is the morning
Born of the one light
Eden so play
Praise with elation
Praise every morning
God' s recreation
Of the new day

Morning has broken
Like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken
Like the first bird
Praise for the singing
Praise for the morning
Praise for them springing
Fresh from the world.

I was singing along to this very familiar Cat Stevens song; loved it. Very interesting red photos Felisol.

Blessings and love,

The sun above seems to have been captured in jars - the ruby sunny orb of a new day is bold and exciting - as each new day is special to us all. Nice capture, nice beginning and lovely rubies!

This is what I see early each morning, as my library where I also write is headed east.
Now the sun rises at about seven in the morning. It's a wonderful time being able capture some light again.
