Our Father 3

Your will be done.

It has often been tough and self revealing to pray Our Father, and mean every word of it.
Too often I'm sitting in my tiny hole, understanding so little of my life and others, not to mention lacking the great perspective.
When the Lord's will is done, it's for the best for me and for the rest of the world.
So why did Jesus teach us to pray the Almighty "Thy will be done"?
We all belong to him. He sees the entire puzzle from afar.
We are living entirely by grace and we are valuable treasures to him.
Even so, it is necessary that I in my heart and with my mouth submit to his will.
I recommend my self into the hands of my father and say, not mine, but,
"Your will be done."

Dearest Felisol, what I've come to realize is that His will is the BEST for us. I struggle with control at times. But through trials I never wanted or asked for, I am learning that He has a plan and a purpose for my life.

God knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows your heart better than you do. And He will place His desires within your heart. Our job is to trust Him and submit our will to His perfect will. You won't be disappointed.

Sending you much love across the ocean.

You are right Felisol, sometimes I pray Thy will be done ina general way and its hard for me to accept His will specially when H e calls me to go through a trial. I need to obey His will too

Things get scary when we become serious wieh this prayer and not just repeat it by rote.

I like your series here and will be sure to come back to check them all. Also I liked your Ruby Red 2. I should check on this. Is something new? Does Teach still run this one? I owe her a post card.

Might you be going to London this spring. Come Thursday, if I post that day, it will be from there.
I went back to your comment about your visit there and saw that you liked St Martin-in-the-Fields church. We like it too. I like their cafeteria, as the Jim Bunch Eats. If the kids would like it better than Abbey Road Baptist we might take them there.

Hi Felisol,

As always your photos are beautiful to look at.

I've hardly followed or made any blog postings recently. Later this morning, I go in for my 5th eye surgery. Maybe this one will fix the problem... Thy will be done.
