I AM

I am,
I am who I am,
God says.
There are no other gods beside me.

The creator of this tiny flower is I am.
Not a half god.
Not a universal power.
But the living, loving God by my right hand side.

i love the flower and the TRUE thought ...

i read somewhere just recently that when God says "I am ... " ... we can write in what we need Him to be for us ...

like "I am the Comforter" ... or "I am your Provider" ...

i thought that was a cool thought ...

blessings on you! big hugs too!

Dear Felisol..
This is so beautiful and pure!
I love the " I am's" in the Bible. There are so many of them!
"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever."
"You are from beneath; I AM from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world."
"I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."
"I AM the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
"I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
'I am the Son of God'
"I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live."
"I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"
"I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser."
"I am the King of the Jews."
'I am the God of your fathers-- the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob"
"I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting"...

Nice post my Felisol...Love Terry

I have found a friend in Jesus, He's everything to me,
He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;
The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see,
All my needs to cleanse and make me fully whole.

In sorrow He's my comfort, in trouble He's my stay,
He tells me every care on Him to roll;
He's the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,
While I live by faith and do His blessed will;
A wall of fire about me, I've nothing now to fear,
From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.

Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face,
Where the rivers of delight shall ever roll;
He's the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,
He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul...

Dear Sioux Sue,
thank you for coming back after being so shamefully shocked.
You are a faithful friend.

Dear Saija,
so good that you are getting me, even when my words are failing me.
I saw this flower, loved by Serina, so beautiful and delicate, totally unable to live on it's own. I thought of how God, the creator also will always be there in the moment to protect and provide.
He is my comfort and my strength.

DearTerry,
are you an abundance of wisdom and sharing love!
I love all the I AMs you are referring to.
What a mighty savior we have, and how I need to be reminded of it.

I wonder about the song, if that is not the one my mom used to sing and play the guitar to.
I'll have to try and rinse my rusty voice and sing along.

Dear Renae,
thank you for taking time to come over and say hello.
I am now able to write my pidgin English again. My old head could not cope with three languages simultaneously.
I have been taking time to reading though, and will return to grüss in a short time.

Dear Amrita,
after you wrote about the Olympics I had to phone my Mom to ask about the results.
I have not watched TV for a week, nor do I read the sport news in our local newspaper. It's mostly about third rank soccer and that is not one of my favorite entertainments.
My father highly admired the Finnish long distance runners. So do I.
But this year; I haven't got a clue.

You are all highly greeted from Felisol
