FOR ALL OUR BLOG FRIENDS

Psalm 139

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1 O LORD, You have searched me and known me.
2 You know my sitting down and my rising up;
You understand my thought afar off.
3 You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O LORD, You know it altogether.
5 You have hedged me behind and before,
And laid Your hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
It is high, I cannot attain it.

7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,
And Your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,”
Even the night shall be light about me;
12 Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You,
But the night shines as the day;
The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

How reassuring to know that He is always with us. We can't flee from Him (not that I'd ever want to). I pray that you'll have a good new year and that you will draw closer each day to the Lord. Many blessings my friend. I'll be back to blogging tomorrow.

Happy New Year! I enjoyed looking through the nice photos of your Ruby Tuesday post. Didn't I read somewhere in my meanderings through your posts that you have a December birthday too? I tried to find it last time I was here and didn't see it but just in case either Happy or Belated Happy Birthday to you.

May the New Year bring peace and all good things to all of us in this world. I'm hoping that our new American president can help undo some of what the current one has done and that he will help inspire others to peace and healing. In any case. May you and yours be blessed in the New Year.

Thankyou so much Felisol.

Staring the New Year holding o to God 's hand and knowing that His presence is with us is such a comforting thing.

No matter what happens in the New Year. God will be with us.

Will leave for church in a short while.
For lunch we invited our Pastor 's family, so have to get the food ready too.

Greeting to Gunnar, Serina and Mother.

This particular Psalm that you shared here encompasses all of life. No matter where we reside ... on what side of the sea. He knows our where-abouts and is there whether we acknowledge Him or not. My prayer in the new year is that more of my family, friends, and strangers know Him. May His peace be with you and your beautiful family ... as you ring in the new year. Hugs

Dear Felisol,

Thank you for that beautiful psalm. And thank you even more for that touching note that you left on the video on Robin's site (I had the video on my site, too).

Thank you for the kind understanding of the danger that my people are currently in. It is greatly, greatly appreciated.

Take care and a wonderful 2009!

This is one of my favorite Psalms!

Where can we go that He does not go with us? Or what can we think that He does not already know? His love for us is infinite...

We are so blessed to be His children!
