SEPIA SERINA

Join the Sepia Scenes with teach Mary

These days portraits have become my favorite photoshop playground.
I think the poem of Butler Yeats kind of catches the spirit of the picture.
He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven
by William Butler Yeats
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

As always, such a lovely image of Serina. The poem is apt, reflecting the trust she is laying at the feet of her future as she pursues her dreams into the world.

Lovely daughter and lovely image!
I really like your use of light.
The poem fits perfectly. It is one of my favorites - especially the last line.

Beautiful portrait of your sweet Serina.

I enjoyed reading the poem, Felisol. I never take the time to read poetry. Thanks for sharing.

She is a real beauty! I like the sepia for portraits, bold colors would take attention from her, so the monochrome blurs the distractions so we can see total beauty!

Felisol, that Serina is very pretty (you know that). Besides that I know you are very proud of her and of her accomplishments.

I did get the Joni Mitchell YouTube. There are several. I like the Joni Mitchell Big Yellow Taxi best.

Thank you, :-)
Thank you too for the BDay wishes!

Serina looks so elegant in this photo - you caught her beauifully.
Now she has short hair , it suits her well.

W B Yeats poem is lovely. The heavens at our feet.

Thank you for your prayers. i am feeling better, just some backache and mild cramps. But praise God I was able to go out on church business work in the morning.

I have the holy Basil seeds for you , I am drying them.
