Lazy days at the beach, reading Ulysses and taking sunbaths.
I even managed to fall asleep for an hour, and got a ruby back side.
The water is barely 50 Fahrenheit degrees, so I'm only dipping my toes.
We saw several people - and dogs taking a plunge into the water.
Real vikings.

I love the work of James Joyce. That is a great pic
Ohh 50F that is way too cold for me hehe. Indeed you are so in for summer you have all the great stuff. Nice shot! Happy RT!
Red is emergency
I'm glad summer has begun for you! And when I finish the books I am currently reading, I may open up Ulysses as well.
To be at the beach on a sunny day is enough, even if cool. The Vikings were probably pretty tough, yet they probably only dipped their toes into the water too. You brought a book, the day was all yours!
Nice selection of Rubies!
Sorry about your ruby backside, but the rest of your summer sounds very wonderful!
great to hear your ruby summer has been going well. nice shot for Ruby Tuesday!
Enjoy your summer, Felisol! It is too hot here to lay out. Our water will almost burn you too. It was 88.2 F at the Galveston, Texas, beach.
Next week it may be too oily to swim in.
Happy RT!
..
dear felisol. i never knew that serina was home and here i was worrying about her.
i hope that she did well in her exams and i am so glad that she is home with you and gunnar.
take care and enjoy your summer felisol...love terry
It's been since college days that I've even thought of Ulysses. Much too heavy a summer read for me. :)
Sounds like wonderful lazy days except for the coldness of the water.
Oh sweet bliss. Enjoy the warmth , sun and sea.
what do you think of Ulysses so far? i know Joyce's novel is a classic ... but I find him so hard to read (Tolkien's in the same camp for me). Great shot for summer.
My Ruby Redness
Great photo. You have everything you need right there for a wonderful and fun beach outing.
Cool Reds !
Blessings,

Felisol, you are so well read I'm impressed. :)
Would love to join you on the beach but I would definitely take the sunscreen. This fair Norwegian skin burns easily. But lazy days on the beach sound wonderful to me.
Enjoy your ruby summer!
Love you,
Debbie
Good morning, Elise. I'm so behind. My last week at work had me frantic, working late, and avoiding the computer at home thanks to exhaustion.
50F - feels just fine to me. Maybe a sweater against the light breeze and it's walking weather for me. BUT, like you, I'll pass on taking a dip. My Italian side makes the Swedish side pretty wimpish.
Off to read more. (((Hugs)))
