I cannot resist a good challenge. When Leora implied that I probably could not make the same Photoshop choices twice, I simply had to try once more to improve another wrecked picture. The bleak January sky and gray sea made my take of our harbor skyline dull and blur.
What made the change is an artistic filter called poster edges.
The lighthouse guarding the sailing entrance from the west, gave inspiration to the well known words from Psalm 119. (Hebrew Bible).
I wish you all a peaceful week end.

Well, if that is what I implied, then you proved me wrong! It's gorgeous. Keep going with this style - wonderful effect.
Dear Leora,
I so respect your opinions, because anyone who sees your photos immediately sees you are the artist and the educated one. I'm a playing charlatan, getting a result by incident, not by knowledge.
I so appreciate you taking time and come over to me.
and I take your words as encouragement.
I will certainly "play on."
I love your photo! It's amazing what you can do with Photoshop. I've never used it but I've seen changes others have made to their photos. I've used Picnik but it is closing. :(
Thank you for your comments on my post about my Norwegian family. I get so excited to meet them and learn more about my origins. I'm so glad that there is such a rich godly heritage there.
Love,
Debbie
