Gunnar and I decided to stay at a seasort hotel for one more night. As so often we went out to catch the magic of the sundown by the sea.
Arne Garborg, my mother's favorite poet , has described the sundown like no one else.
"From sea a land of elves arise,
with peaks and moors" the first stanza goes.
That is why the scenery in which my mother grew up is called Land of Elves.

Since childhood I have been fascinated by tales of the nordic countries and you have brought them closer tome, . So happy you could have a nice family get together.
I love the photo
My mother used to talk about the elves too, they were such a part of her childhood imagination. :)
I pray for you and your mom whenever i think of you. One day at a time is all we can do, and I pray for strength and courage and all of your daily needs. You are such an inspiration to me Felisol. The way you express your heart sure touches mine.
Hugs to your mother.
