In the mood

February came with snow and frost. Amidala is bored. She likes to be where the going gets rough. She also likes to play with Serina, but Serina is gone, Amidala knows, she's checking her room every day. I made her a place in the window, where she could look out in the garden. Her air tells; she's bored.

As we sat in the kitchen eating our dinner, we heard a crash and and bump. The crash was Amidala killing my nice glass bird up to the left, hanging in a yellow silk ribbon. (Gift from my dear friend Christa.) The bump was killer queen jumping down from the bookshelf without disturbing any of the other glass items on display.

Later that night she simply lay down on my key board, simply denying me to write another letter. Enough is enough. I did however not reward her terror attack, I sent her downstairs to Gunnar.
Sunday night she was her old peaceful self again. She kept me company till four in the morning watching Super Bowl.

Gattina from cats on Tuesday is hosting this meme. Visit her.

I think Amidala has inherited some of your family genes, is it from you or from Gunnar?? :)

The last picture is a prize winner!

Hehehe, nothing is worse than a bored cat ! Arthur switched on the oven, went to sleep in my wardrobe but before to make him space he threw all my t-shirts out, he found the earsticks in the bathroom and played with them all over the house etc etc !
Fortunately the others are better. Rosie plays with her mousies !

Poor Amidala; getting into mischief. But obviously she is loved and forgiven by you.

I love the rows of books in your home. When I lived in a larger house, I too had many many rows of books. I treasured them. Unfortunately I had to get rid of many since I now have no room. But many friends are now reading them. :)

I am very excited. On February 22, some of my relatives that I've never met will be traveling through Arizona. Many are descendants of my grandfather's brothers from Sumstad, Norway (north of Trondheim). I am taking off work and meeting for a family picnic. We will have time to share stories, photos and figure out more of our family heritage. I'll be sure to write about it on Heart Choices.

Love,
Debbie

Hi! I hopped over here from soraya's blog. I am so sorry about your mom. Perhaps she could be meeting my mom in heaven right now! Congrats to your beautiful daughter on her bachelor's degree. Your cat is quite the character :) We are J R R Tolkien fans here too.

I tried to leave a comment at this post this morning, at about the same time that you left a comment on my Feb 7 post... but for some reason blogger wouldn't accept it... hope this time it works.

Amidala is a cat with character... it shows on her face. And because of her high intelligence, she gets easily bored and needs stimulation!

What a wonderful creature a cat is. DId I tell you before that my dad was a cat rescuer, and we had 15 cats in our house at one time when I was a young teener!

The pictures are lovely!
